He is ever ready to share his personal experiences and knowledge about Tanzania’s culture, people, tradition and day to day lifestyle including the mountain life. Omari Haruna Katabi is highly knowledgeable about all first-aid measures and makes sure that his customers are always healthy on the trip. He has exceptional communication, interpretation and leadership skills and is familiar with all the routes on the Kilimanjaro trails. Katabi is passionate about traveling and wildlife. He grew up seeing foreign tourists making their way up to Mt. Kilimanjaro which made him choose his career in tourism industry. With his friendly nature and keen interest to befriend foreign trekkers from the world over, he is very excited to exchange ideas and cultural knowledge with them.
