The Golden Triangle North India Tour – 7 Days includes the three well-known and culturally rich towns of India – Delhi, Jaipur, and Agra. The tour provides you with many facades of India – from modern fast lifestyle of the cities to the slow and serene pace of the Middle age villages. Especially, the tour focuses on the cultural and personal lives of the Moghul Emperors of India. Visit such places as the Taj Mahal – India’s most visited monument of Love, the colorful town of Jaipur, and the medieval and modern mixture in Old and New Delhi. Also visit various historic and cultural sites like: the tall minarets, palaces, majestic temples and forts that have been delights of travelers since the earliest times.
The Golden Triangle North India Tour – 7 Days starts with arrival and sightseeing of Delhi. From Delhi, we head for the colorful city of Jaipur. Then we visit Agra of the Taj Mahal fame. The 7 days Golden Triangle concludes at Delhi again, from where you will fly to your onward destination.
After your arrival in Delhi airport, our local guide will pickup you up and transfer to your hotel. Relax in the rest hours of this day and also visit the traditional bazaars as well as historic and monumental sites in Delhi. Overnight at Delhi hotel.
After breakfast, we visit the monuments of Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple, India Gate, Parliament House, Birla Temple, and Raj Ghat. Visit to the majestic Red Fort or Lal Kila, the beautiful marvels covered in red sandstone. Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India that was built by Emperor Shah Jahan of the Taj Mahal fame. Rajghat – a memorial of Mahatama Gandhi. After exploring the Old Delhi monuments, we visit Rastrapati Bhawan (Presidential Palace), the India Gate – a memorable monument built in the honor of Indian soldiers, and Qutub Minar- one of the tallest towers in the world. Overnight at Delhi hotel.
Today, we take our morning breakfast, and visit Laxmi Narayan Temple and Giant Shiva Statue. Then we drive to Jaipur. On arrival at Jaipur, transfer to hotel. In the evening, make a stroll around Jaipur Bazar and Hawa Mahal. Overnight Hotel in Jaipur.
After morning breakfast, we make an excursion to the 16th century Amber fort. Also enjoy elephant ride at Amber Fort. The fort was built by Akbar’s Rajput Commander, Raja Man Singh. Visit and shop at textile industry. Other attractions of Jaipur are the City Palace of Jaipur, Hawa Mahal or Wind Palace and Jantar Mantar or Observatory which was built by Raja Jai Singh. Also visit Laxmi Narayan Temple. Overnight at Jaipur Hotel.
We visit Amber fort in the morning. Then via Fatehpur Sikri, we drive to Agra. Mughal Dynasty’s Fatehpur Sikri with magnificent red sandstone building, built by the Moghal Emperor Akbar to commemorate Saint Salim Chisti, who blessed Akbar with three sons. Marvel at such graceful buildings as the Jami Masjid, the tomb of Salim Chisti, the Panch Mahal, Diwan I Khas and other palaces. The monuments are examples of the fusion of Islamic architecture with Hindu and Jain decorative art. After arrival in Agra, transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Agra.
After today’s breakfast, we start Agra Sightseeing tour. Visit the Taj Mahal, a finest amalgam of love and architecture – one of the wonders of the world. We also visit Agra Fort, a large fortified strategic point of Mughal Empire. Overnight in Agra.
In the morning, we visit Dayal Bag Temple of Radha Swami and then drive to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi, visit Chatrapur Temple complex. Your Golden Triangle Cultural Tour concludes today. Taj Mahal remains closed for public viewing on Friday.
During our stay, a buffet style breakfast will be served. The remaining meals are not included. As a variety of meals are available in most hotels, it is advisable to ask the hotel or restaurant to recommend what is fresh and in season.
We use 4 star hotels in India. We use The Royal Plaza or Hotel Mapple Emerald or similar in New Delhi; Hotel Om Tower or Hotel Royal Orchid or similar in Jaipur and Hotel Howard Park Plaza or The Retreat in Agra. Since the tour is designed on twin sharing basis, you share room with your fellow traveler but in case you prefer single rooms we charge USD 380 as single supplement.
