Explore Nepal and Bhutan's natural and cultural wonders with cultural tours and a hike to Bhutan's Taktsang Monastery.
Welcome to our enhanced Nepal and Bhutan Tour, a truly mesmerizing cultural extravaganza in two beautiful South-Asian nations. Get ready for an unforgettable 9-day journey where we explore the best of Nepal and Bhutan, immersing ourselves in their rich heritage and breathtaking landscapes.
Our adventure begins in the vibrant city of Kathmandu, ranked as the 19th top destination in the world by Trip Advisor in 2015. Here, we start by visiting UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including ancient temples, palaces, and historical landmarks that showcase the rich history and culture of Nepal.
Next, we take a scenic flight to Paro, Bhutan, where we embark on an awe-inspiring tour of townships, dzongs (fortresses), and temples that are steeped in Bhutanese tradition and architecture. We also venture to the high Dochu La pass, where we are treated to panoramic views of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks, a sight that will leave us breathless.
One of the highlights of our tour is a thrilling hike to the legendary Taktsang Monastery, also known as Tiger’s Nest Monastery, perched precariously on a cliffside. This iconic Buddhist monastery is not only a place of spiritual significance but also offers jaw-dropping views of the surrounding valleys and mountains, making it an unforgettable experience.
But our Nepal and Bhutan Tour doesn’t end there. We fly back to Kathmandu and visit the ancient cities of Patan and Bhaktapur, renowned for their exquisite architecture and well-preserved cultural heritage. We stroll through their narrow alleys, marvel at their intricately carved temples, and soak in the unique atmosphere of these historic towns.
As the tour draws to a close, we head to Nagarkot, a picturesque village perched on a hilltop, famous for its panoramic views of the Himalayas. Here, we witness awe-inspiring sunsets amidst the majestic peaks, creating a magical and unforgettable memory that will stay with us forever.
Throughout the tour, we will be accompanied by experienced guides who will share their in-depth knowledge of the local culture, history, and traditions, adding depth and meaning to our journey. We will also indulge in local cuisines, interact with friendly locals, and create lasting memories that will make this Nepal and Bhutan Tour an enriching and life-changing experience.
