Himalayan Glacier respects your privacy. We do not rent or sell any of the details that you provide to us in good faith. We do our utmost to ensure the privacy and security of the information you supply do to us.

We are also anti-spam, and do not buy or rent information from any third parties. If you receive information from Himalayan Glacier, it is because you have asked to hear from us, you have entered a competition and agreed to join our mail list, or a friend / colleague has requested it on your behalf.

At any time you can be removed from any or all of our databases and receive no more information from us.

Impact on the natural environment and the people who live off it’s resources. We enforce a number of do’s and don’ts for our customers and staff when out in the wilderness. We always stay in solar powered lodges when possible but if not we discourage showers and boiled water for drinking, we never use bottled mineral water and we suggest putting on an extra layer of clothing rather than another log on the fire! We only use gas or kerosine when camping, we avoid shortcuts through hillsides and fields preventing erosion and we are extremely conscious of disposing of litter that our groups produce in an ecologically sound way.

What personally identifiable information is collected by Himalayan Glacier? Visitors may supply personally identifiable information (such as name, address, email address or telephone numbers) for various purposes on this site, or directly to our offices. These purposes include registering to receive e-mail newsletters, requesting further information about our trips, making a booking or simply asking a question about Himalayan Glacier. Himalayan Glacier does not collect personal information from you unless you provide it to us. This means that you can visit our site without telling us who you are or revealing any personally identifiable information about yourself.

How is information used?

When you supply information about yourself for a specific purpose, we use the information for only that purpose (i.e. to provide the service or information you have requested).
