Our travel planner Vidya was so accommodating. We initially encountered some hiccups with the flight from Nepal to Bhutan as almost all flights were fully booked so she worked her magic and she was able to find us a flight and was able to jumble our itinerary to make it work.
Bhutan is such a lovely country. It definitely gave us a much-needed break from city living. Our guide Mr. Thinley and the driver (sorry I forgot his name) made us feel so at home and they were very patient with us especially with the hike up to the Tiger’s Nest, which I thought I couldn’t do but surprisingly was able to climb with their gentle persuasion that it was only 5 minutes away.. NOT! 🙂 It was definitely worth all the effort! The view was breathtaking! The whole country was surreal I must say!
Nepal, on the other hand, was majestic. Despite having most of the beautiful buildings heavily damaged or destroyed by the strong earthquake a few years back, you could still see how elaborate it once was. It is still a must see.
Overall, this trip was perfect!
