From the time I was picked up from the airport, I was treated with an exceptional level of service & professionalism. Once I arrived in KTM, everything for the trek was sorted out, ready for an early departure to Pokhara the next day.
The Mountains were absolutely amazing, and everything about the trek was wonderful. We were luckily treated to great blue skies, and even small snow storm the day before we got to base camp.
It was an amazing experience, made even better by my guide Jay and our Porter.
Jay is an excellent guide who is polite, kind, and very genuine. Safety was at the forefront of Jay’s concerns. I even felt like he treated me as a brother, and made sure I was ok throughout the trek as it was my first time at altitude. Jay had an excellent feel for the mountain (clearly lots of experience on this trek), and when we asked how much further we had to walk, he was pretty spot on with his estimates. He even made a really big effort to make my Birthday in the mountains a special day.
I can’t wait to go back to Nepal and do another trek with Himalayan Glacier and Jay. They both far surpassed my expectations of a trek in Nepal!
