Baburam has always been passionate about being a trek leader. He enjoys his work and is skillful in providing an experience with his clients. He is an easy-going and a fun-loving person, who is always prepared for any conditions in the remote mountains. Khatri’s strong belief and commitment has always helped him on his journey from a porter to becoming a successful trek leader. His dedication and hard work over the years brought him piles of accolades and admirations from his clients.
Baburam did his professional Eco-Leadership Training in 2014. He has also completed his First Aid Advanced course. Achieving grade ‘A’ from NATHM during his Trekking Guide Training, there was no looking back for him. He led travelers from the US, Canada, UK, Australia, France, Germany, Denmark, Austria, and many more to the popular trekking destinations of Nepal. A major portion of Baburam’s trekking journey has been in the Everest region comprising more than 100 treks to Everest Base Camp and more than 50 treks to Everest 3 High Passes. Besides, he guided trekkers to Annapurna Base Camp more than a dozen times, and Annapurna Circuit Trek above 30 times.
Khatri has accompanied his clients on Upper Mustang Trek, Langtang Valley Trek, Khopra Ridge Trek, Mardi Himal Trek, Tsum Valley Trek, and many more during his guiding career. His vast experience in trekking has gathered him immense knowledge of the mountainous terrains, local culture, traditions, and other interesting aspects of adventurous journeys. His sensitive, supportive, and encouraging nature makes him feel that understanding human psychology and being compassionate will help solve any problem!
