Sriju Karki

Sriju Karki was born and brought up in Kathmandu. She grabbed her first job in the tourism sector while she was undertaking her Bachelor’s degree back in 2019. Currently working for Himalayan Glacier as a travel specialist, she loves the mountains and is non-hesitant to share her personal experiences with fellow travelers. Sriju encourages people around her age groups to travel more and explore the beauty of nature.

Karki has strong communication skills and customer-service skills with an orientation to tiny details. Her past experience in one of the travel agencies helped her cope with grabbing all that she needed in her present responsibility area. Besides a travel specialist, she is a regular hiker, and recently ticked Ghorepani PoonHill trek, Annapurna Base Camp trek from her bucket list, and many more treks up her sleeves. When at work place, Sriju is busy determining the clients’ needs and suggesting suitable trip packages, or preparing a customized itinerary. She has been very passionate about exploring new places since her childhood. At the same time, she enjoys traveling, listening to music, art and craft, photography, and eco-fashion. Joining Himalayan Glacier, Sriju acquired fortunate experiences and opportunities to learn new things every day. She is content that she has taken up a career that she loved when she was a kid.
