Sudarshan Devkota kicked off his career in the trekking sector as he was impressed by the scenic views of the Himalayas since his childhood. With strong belief and determination, he pursued his career and undertook several training programs to sharpen up his knowledge and skills. During his guiding career, he accumulated huge information and knowledge about his country Nepal and the daily lifestyle of mountain people including their ethnicities, cultures and traditions. Over the years, his commitment and perseverance brought him high regards and paved his way to get better each day.

Sudarshan is very passionate about his clients and knows how to please and make them happy. He understands his responsibilities well and that is what makes him a pride of Himalayan Glacier. He enjoys his work as much as other trekking leaders do. Devkota is ever ready to share all his knowledge to the guests and make them happy and smile at all times. During his career as a trekking leader, he has led travelers from the US, UK, Russia, Spain, Poland, Finland, Australia and many others to the famous trekking zones of Nepal namely Everest, Annapurna, Helambu, and Langtang. A fun-loving person that he is, he has realized that it is more fun when he gets to interact with people from all around the world and learn about their culture and traditions.
