Eric was able to organise on 2 day notice a Mt Kilimanjaro climb & a 4 day safari. He also supplied for free additional equipment for Killa. These where both with open groups as being a solo traveller wanted to experience with others. Machame route was extremely scenic & the last days climb to the summit was only achieved because I had Killas number 1 guide with me, Bruno. Eric was there to greet me at the final gate with a bottle of sparkling. Above & beyond. The safari again was well organised with excellent staff. Knowledgeable & proud to show of their country. Through all the days I spend at Moshi, Joining Safaris was there for me and offered many activities and transportation and pick up. I really started feeling at home, because there would always be someone around that I could count on. So what really convinced me, was not only the great Kilimanjaro Hike that I had, but also the support before and after that. During the Hike I really had no problems and didn’t even take medicine („Dymox“...as my guide Bruno explained to me, you lose a lot of water when you take it, which is just the most important supply. So you better avoid it as long as possible and only take it in the worst case of altitude sickness). I actually expected to be in a group with other tourists, as I was traveling alone, but when we started I found out it was just me and the crew. Throughout the 6 days I found the advantages of being alone, instead of walking up in a group - your guide just applies to your pace and you don’t have to wait for anyone (or the other way round), because groups always apply to the slowest member of course. It was definitely a huge experience. For half a year I hesitated, because I thought it was just so damn expensive and I had to decide whether to do the kili or a big safari. In the end I don’t regret my decision and it was worth every penny, I will never forget it. Joining safaris is a definite recommendation, I have nothing to complain about. They delivered far more than they had to and treat you like a best friend. I could not imagine any better service and support.
