Digital Tourism Marketing Training

Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Nepal Chapter recently organized a 2-Day Training on Digital Tourism Marketing from 4-5 December, 2014 at Nepal Tourism Board, Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. Professionals and representatives from various travel industries, tour operators, airlines and hotels attended the training including Mr. Raj Maharjan, Web Developer on behalf of Himalayan Glacier.


The objective of the training was to equip entrepreneurs and stakeholders from the tourism industry with practical information and modern styles on technical and promotional skills and digital marketing.

Having felt the need for e-tourism, practical and ethical market management approaches data evaluation, international relations, market research and study, PATA Nepal Chapter invited Mr. Damien Cook, Founder & CEO of ETourism Frontiers and Ms. Sarah Matthew, Senior Sales Manager from TripAdvisor as resource persons for the training. The training was a huge success where over 70 individuals participated.
