Well, the answer to this question would be yes and no! We recommend acclimatization days, especially when you are hiking at altitudes more than 8,000 feet. Although acclimatization days will increase the number of trip days, it is very crucial that you allow your body to adjust to the new environment, lest you fall prey to the low oxygen levels in the atmosphere. Acclimatization will help your body slowly adapt to lower oxygen levels thereby reducing chances of being hit by any of the mountain sicknesses. So, as a bottom line, we recommend you not to skip your acclimatization days at all.
