Annapurna Circuit trek with Tilicho Lake and Poon Hill takes us to the world’s highest lake in the Manang District of Nepal. The first part of the trail is that of the Annapurna circuit. However, from Manang we go to the mail valley to the west and trek up to the Tilicho Lake. Our trail again joins the Annapurna circuit route and crosses the Thorong La pass, one of the highest passes in the world. We also climb up to Poon Hill famous for its spectacular views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. On our 20-day journey we pass through forests, cross pristine meadows, experience the change in vegetation, all the while being in the company of the glorious Himalayas.

During our trek, we can enjoy authentic Nepalese food as well the more common international cuisine (Tibetan, Continental, Italian, Indian, etc.). Breakfast and dinner will be served from the teahouse or from a lodge menu where we spend the night whereas lunch will be served on the way to the next destination. All meals will be provided during trekking while only breakfast will be available in Kathmandu. There will also be welcome and farewell dinners for guests.
We will be staying in Yatri Suites & Spa or similar in Kathmandu, Mount Kailash Resort in Pokhara and teahouses during the trek. All accommodations are on twin-shared basis. Single supplement will be served on request and will cost an additional USD 360. Himalayan Glacier will arrange rooms with attached washrooms; however, teahouses in some places only have shared washing and toilet facilities. Also note that single rooms are readily available in Kathmandu and the trekking regions at lower elevation but it might be difficult to find them at higher elevations.

With the help of Himalayan Glacier Trekking, I recently spent a month in Nepal. Sneha helped me plan the trip and arranged everything perfectly. First I went to Chitwan Park and spent time in the jungle, rode an elephant, traveled down a river in a canoe and many other activities. It was wild and wonderful! Then I toured Katmandu. Then I was off to the mountains. I trekked on the Annapurna Curcuit Trek and it was amazing. My guide and porter were fun and flexible. They had knowledge of everything and were more than happy to accommodate me to make things go perfectLy. The lodges were comfortable and clean and the food was excellent. Then I went to Pohkara and saw all the sites, paraglided, went on a canoe trip and enjoyed great views of the Himalayas. Every detail of my trip was well planned and executed without any problems. HGT went out of their way to make sure I was safe at all times. I would recommend HGT to anyone planning to go to Nepal.
Show moreNamaste! We (Eric, Wenyong, Jeff) went to Nepal in Oct 2015 for ACT trekking. Our trip was in charge by the manager, Naba. He is a friendly person and had arranged our trip smoothly and efficient. The guide, Suresh, is strong, knowledgable and experienced. During the trip, he had taken good care of us which allowed us to have peace of mind to enjoy the trek. The porters (Songka & Ram) had carried our things with care. They all are very nice person!I still remember during the trek when we were passing the landslide area to and return from Tilicho basecamp, I was really fear of falling down and could not step firmly, it was Suresh who gave me courage and held my hand to walk thru the landslide area. I could not really get back if without him. Once again, thank you Suresh!I would highly recommend Himalayan Glacier!
