Operating lodges at Everest Base Camp is strictly prohibited. However, Everest authorities allow sleeping at the base camp in tents during the Everest Expedition Spring Season with special permits. Himalayan Glacier is probably the first company to offer the option of sleeping at Everest Base Camp during the Everest Base Camp trek. But, we have just 4 departures of this trip in a year.
