Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Sushil Ghimire has said the Government of Nepal has attracted tourists and investors in the sector with policy measures.
While speaking at the Nepal Sales Mission 2014 held in Scandinavian countries in Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm to attract tourists from the world recently, Ghimire who is also the chairman of NTB said the government has been giving high priority to tourism sector, the Nepal Tourism Board said today.
NTB Chief Executive Officer Subash Niraula called on citizens of Denmark, Norway and Sweden to visit Nepal as it is a best destination in various points of view.
He also spoke on the importance of the Diamond Jubilee of the ascend to Mt Everest, the board said. Nepal has been listed in Lonely Planet’s ‘best value destinations’ for 2013, in part of its ‘best in travel’ annual series, NTB said.
