Nepal Trekking and Everest Himalaya Heli Tour  - 7 Days

Upon arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport, a representative from Himalayan Glacier will welcome you at the airport and escort you to your designated hotel. In the afternoon you may take a rest at the hotel, or visit Himalayan Glacier’s office for pre-trip discussion followed by trek preparation. In the evening, we will treat you with the most authentic Nepali dinner.

After sumptuous breakfast, we will continue our journey to visit several of the most historical attractions in Kathmandu. Some of these landmarks including the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square, the famous ‘Monkey Temple’ (Swayambhunath). In the afternoon we will enjoy Rickshaw ride to explore the busy streets of the Thamel area. Also, getting off the usual tourist trail, let us take you on a guided heritage walk to Ason Bazaar. Ason Bazaar is one of the oldest markets in the Kathmandu, and it is an excellent place to walk through to one of the UNESCO protected heritage sites -Kathmandu Durbar Square. As the day moves forward, we will prepare you for your exciting private Helicopter ride directly to your hotel in Dhulikhel. You will be afforded with great visibility and superb aerial view of Kathmandu city and Dhulikhel. Overnight in Dhulikhel.

Your morning begins with a luscious breakfast. Shortly, we make our way to the welcoming rural villages in Dhulikhel. An ancient Newari town, Dhulikhel lies 32 km southeast of Kathmandu and is famous for its spectacular views of the Himalayas like Mt. Langtang Lirung, Mt. Dorje Lakpa, and others. Our carefully designed village walk will give you a clear picture of the authentic village life and the local people, their culture, customs, rituals and traditional preservations. We assure you that this educative, as well as inspiring village walk, will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for you. After a few hours of strolling in the countryside, we will return to the hotel. Today is the day that we have been anticipating – to accomplish the major highlight of the trip. After a scrumptious breakfast, we are all geared up before boarding the chopper to enjoy the most exciting experience and a truly spectacular ride to Everest Base Camp. Everest Base Camp Luxury trek is a privilege that only a few get to enjoy. Taking heli flight to Everest base camp and landing at the height above 5404 m allows you to enjoy stunning views of Mt. Everest and other majestic Himalayan peaks from Kala Patthar and fantastic photographic opportunities.

Afterward, Heli will take you directly to your Hotel Everest View. Lodge presents a 360-degree view of the Himalayas along with an awe-inspiring view of Mt. Everest from your room. After lunch, it is time to begin trekking to Khumjung – the largest Sherpa village in the Khumbu region. During 3-4 hours of the trek, we will visit Khumjung monastery, a historical monument – it is the center of Sherpa’s culture and religion in the Khumbu region. We will also stop by at Khumjung Hillary School that was built by Edmund Hillary’s ‘the Himalayan Trust.’ One last visit before calling off the day is the Khunde Hospital that was founded in 1966 by Edmund Hillary. After breakfast at the hotel, we will gear up for a short pleasant hike to Namche Bazaar – the main trading center and the cultural hub of the Khumbu region crammed up by colorful, vibrant markets, ATMs, Internet cafes, shops, restaurants, and government offices. Our goal is to assist you in exploring the real charm of the Sherpa village. Hiking to the closely located Sagarmatha National Park enthralls you with mesmerizing views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Thamserku, Kongde and so on.

Heading back to Kathmandu, we get to relish the dazzling sights of Nuptse, Lhotse, Lola peaks with Mt. Pumori, Khumbu Ice Falls, and impressive glaciers. In Kathmandu, we will host a farewell dinner on account of the successful completion of your trip. Overnight in Kathmandu.

A representative from Himalayan Glacier will accompany you to the airport at least 3 hours prior to your scheduled flight. Trekking in Nepal comes to end today.
