Enjoy Kanchenjunga Circuit Trekking in the remote area of Nepal on solitary trails and revere the grandeur of the Himalayas

Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek is a chance to reach the base camp of the world’s third tallest mountain on a remote mountain trail ideal for trekkers who enjoy the solitude. Located in the far north-eastern corner of Nepal, Mt. Kanchenjunga is considered to be one of the most beautiful mountain massifs in the world. The name Kanchenjunga means ‘Five Treasures of the Great Snow’ which is in reference to the five summits that make up Kanchenjunga. The 25-day circuit trek begins after we fly to Bhadrapur from Kathmandu.  The long journey on a less crowded path also rewards us with a unique insight into the rural Nepalese lifestyle of the country’s eastern region.

  • Experience the solitary trails in the remote eastern regions of Nepal
  • Appraise the alluring  mountain massifs in the world
  • Marvel at the magnificence of Mt. Kanchenjunga
  • Be in awe at the unique sights of rural Nepalese lifestyle

Mount kilimanjaro I just completed the Mount kilimanjaro climb organized by Himalayan Glacier. I was supported by a fantastic guide Fromance. He ensured my safety and took me on several additional walks at the various huts where we stayed. We had fun and very interesting adventures. The rest of the team included a fantastic chef, Yona, who created spectacular dishes including a celebratory cake for us after finishing the climb. I would highly recommend anyone considering this climb to go with Himalayan Glacier

The trip of a lifetime! This was such an incredible experience! It is so difficult to describe just how majestic and breathtaking the Himalayas really are. Every single day of the trek I found myself humbled by the scale and beauty of the mountains. Himalayan Glacier absolutely outdid themselves in terms of providing us with a trek that was organised, safe, fun, and most importantly, successful in making it up to Everest Base Camp! Our guide Homnath was friendly and knowledgeable, and our porter Bhakta was such a gentle and kind man. They both helped make our trip so easy and special. I'm so so pleased that I booked this trek through this company. I think it's really important to support the local community by using a guide and Himalayan Glacier provides a comprehensive end-to-end package that gave me total peace of mind through the entire trip (from landing in Kathmandu to leaving to go back to London).

3 Passes Trek with EBC Had an amazing time trekking with Himalayan Glacier and especially my guide Ashish. The service was excellent and far exceeded expectations. Really, it was more than I could have ever imagined from start to finish. Everyone I met with and talked to at Himalayan Glacier were so kind and friendly and answered all my questions and provided great feedback about other parts of Nepal also. If you're thinking about trekking in Nepal I would highly recommend using Himalayan Glacier

Khopra Ridge - fabulous trek! Trekking to Khopra Ridge was an amazing experience! It is a little off the beaten path, which we appreciated. Not crowded at all. We felt like we had the mountains to ourselves. The trek was hard, make no mistake. But we expected that, and were delighted to challenge ourselves...and make it! We had the very best guide in all of Nepal: Pradip. He was young (30) but very experienced. He started over a decade ago with Himalayan Glacier as a porter, and is an accomplished, professional guide. He spoke excellent English and his knowledge of the terrain, culture, mountains, flowers, trees...was exhaustive. We also had the very best porter in all Nepal: Arjun. Retired from the Nepal Army, he had travelled many of places as a UN peacekeeper. He had an infectious smile and was such a great encouragement. Slow, slow, you can do it! We chose Himalayan Glacier very deliberately. We wanted a Nepalese owned company. Everyone at HG was super. They arranged every detail and everything went smoothly, from airport pick up to departure. We would both recommend Himalayan Glacier. If you want a great Nepal experience, with a Nepalese company, they are the company for you! Thank you Pradip. Thank you Arjun. Thank you HG. Hope to return and see you all again. Grace and Abbey

An awesome experience The beautiful scenery, people and culture of Nepal and the Himalayas made this trip one of the best that I have done, and I have travelled abroad a number of times. Spending time exploring the mountain villages and being amongst the locals going about their normal business was a delightful experience and the memories are now etched in my mind. The tour company, Himalayan Glacier, made the trip so easy and trouble free. From airport pick to drop off at the end of the trip I did not have to worry about a thing. The flight to Lukla, all accommodation and meals during the treck were arranged for me so I could could simply enjoy the treck in a hassle free environment. I had a large menu to chose from at all places and the food was delicious, especially the Sherpa vegetable soup. I'm planning to go back and do the Everest Base Camp treck next year with Himalayan Glacier. I strongly recommend planning to stay in Kathmandu for a few extra days after the treck in case of inclement weather delaying the flight out of Lukla. I was lucky and caught my scheduled flight but quite a few people were delayed for 1 day and 2 days as safety is paramount.

Wonderful Nepal Adventure We had a group of 5 and wanted to spend 3 weeks exploring Nepal. They designed a route that fit what we wanted to do! Than after reaching EBC, which was our big goal, Suresh our guide was able to change our plans at our request! We had wanted to do Gokyo Valley but decided to slow down and get away from the popular areas. We visited some less traveled trails with amazing views! They took super good care of us all the time.

Excellent Guide and Safe This was my first time being above 5000 metres and multiple day hike for more than 3 days. I am not that fit :p. Our guide, Ganga (Man) Bahadur Tamang ensure that we are all safe. He was joyful and full of encouragement, and really keen to make his client successful in the climbing. We all made it to the base camp and no one get sick. Man ensures all of our food and drinks are clean by entering the kitchen himself. We have the best porter too, Jiban. He assisted carrying my day bag too to help in the Chola Pass and Everest Section when he saw I am struggling. Both Man and Jiban go far and beyond to make us comfortable, enjoy the trip, and safe. Putting our guide Man phone number here, and photo. +977 984 2868506

"Mera Peak and Amphu Lumbcha Pass We did Mera Peak and Amphu Lumbcha pass October 2019 with help of Himalayan Glacier trekking company. From the beginning of planning to the very end of this adventure I couldn't be happier. People from this company are truly doing everything to make sure you are getting what you want and you leave with best possible experience. They are really professional at what they doing. My trip was tailor made according to my time frame and a budget. Communication and planning was like a talking to long time friend. Cant say enough thank you to Rayuna and Ashmii for planning and taking care of logistics in the office. At the trekking itself we had two best possible guides, Sherpa Ongchhu and Sherpa Saila, who were making sure we are safe and have the best possible experience in the mountains. This company is always doing extra step, like surprising me with a birthday cake, which sometimes means a lot, especially when you'e far away from home. Thank You Ashmii for that. And of course big Thank you to the owner of this company Mr. Sagar. He was realy doing for me much more then he should. He makes me feel like I'm part of his family, like a brother. Thank You again. Bottom line this company learn it's reputation and it is highly recommended. I've been working with them several times and I will work with them again on my next adventure.

Everest Base Camp Luxury Lodge Trek Our group of five had an amazing time hiking to EBC! The Luxury Lodge option is definitely worth it as we slept in comfortable beds (sometimes with heating pads) and took hot showers almost daily. The meals provided were tasty, had a wide variety and large quantities. Both accommodations and food exceeded our expectations. We are so thankful to our guide and assistant guide - Shankar and Bhakta as well as 3 porters. They were professional, patient, had great communication and our guides were literally there for us every step of the way. Shankar even brought extra goodies for us like cookies and fresh fruit... and surprised us with cakes for my birthday and a wedding anniversary! We couldn’t have asked for a better crew. I would highly recommend booking with Himalayan Glacier for treks and tours in Nepal. Nepal will forever hold a special place in our hearts as my boyfriend proposed to me at EBC! Thank you HGTA for a memorable experience!

Nepal and Bhutan Tour Thank you to Himalayan Glacier wonderful staff and guides for an amazing experience !!! Everyone was very welcoming and helpful . The tours in Kathmandu were so insightful and I experienced a new culture and people . I learned so much along the journey , but the best is always getting to know our faraway neighbors !! The food was great, all the hotels were very nice . As a shopper who loves collecting regional crafts , Kathmandu was simply an amazing place to gather things to bring home and enjoy. Arriving in Bhutan we were warmly greeted by Norbu and Tenzing who gave us an amazing tour of Bhutan! Before our journey began we got to have dinner with departing guests and we all laughed , ate and enjoyed great conversation!! Paul and Debra. PS get a Nepal Visa beforehand if possible!!

Himalayan Glacier were very detail oriented, Great service!

This was my first trek in Nepal and I already want to visit this Himalayan gem again sooner! I searched online for a couple of adventure companies, and inquired a few shortlisted ones. I instantly found HG’s communications exceptional and how they promptly responded my queries – both from USA and Nepal. They let me make a few customizations easily and did not charge extra for my requests like making it a private trip. All services were delivered hassle-free and perfectly from the hotel in Kathmandu, transports, guides, logistics. I am completely satisfied with HG and they exceeded my expectations. Like I got fresh fruits while on the trek, hygienic food of my choice, good accommodations (not so luxurious, but that’s what it is in the mountains, comfortable enough to spend a relaxing night). Now about the trek, the fresh environment, refreshing sound of Kabeli Khola, amazing views of Kanchenjunga, unique culture and lifestyle of locals, sometimes it’s worth to learn from life experiences of people on other side of planet. The trek was a bit demanding some days, particularly on the day we reached Tortong village crossing Lassiya pass. But rewarding views does come from hardest climb..I’m sure to visit Nepal once again and I want same guide Pasang Lakpa. Thank you HG once again!!

Simply exceptional operations and most-memorable adventure

Our group took Kanchenjunga trek in 2018 November with exceptional full service from Himalayan Glacier. Everything was awesome, our first trip to Nepal has been so memorable. From arrival until departure, we enjoyed every moment there and HG took care of everything from hotels, transports to guides, porters, gear, meals, we highly appreciate the effort from this amazing company. The price was reasonable too, absolutely nothing to be concerned of, we returned home happy happy from the successful trek J
