Dhampus Peak (6012m) is located Northeast of the Dhaulagiri massif. In this mountain expedition, travellers will be restless to take pictures of breathtaking scenery of Tukuche peak and Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Annapurna 1,2,3 & 4, Tilicho Peak and Nilgiri South and North.
Another highlight of Dhampus adventure is, travellers will engage on exploration of beautiful hamlets around Kaligandaki valley. Furthermore, the overwhelming altitude differences between the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges make a very exposed spot to observe the scenery from Dhampus Peak.
Although this expedition exceeds the 6000m frontier, no technical climbing skills are required. This means any one experience in walking on snow is advisable for Dhampus adventure climbing.
