- Spring (March–May): Rhododendron blooms and clearest mountain views
- Autumn (September–November): Sharpest mountain clarity of the year, most popular season, book 4 months ahead for Shinta Mani.
- Summer (June–August): Mustang is in a rain shadow and receives far less monsoon rain than the rest of Nepal, often underrated.
- Winter (December–February): Dramatic snowscapes, absolute silence, very cold, Shinta Mani is open year-round and this is the most atmospheric season for cold-tolerant guests.
