Royal Enfield Motorbike Tour in Nepal  - 12 Days

Upon our arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, we will be greeted by a representative from Himalayan Glacier. Following a short drive from the airport, we’ll arrive at our hotel. After settling in and taking a short break, we’ll gather at Himalayan Glacier’s office for a trip discussion. In the evening, we’ll have a delightful welcome dinner featuring authentic Nepali cuisine, hosted by Himalayan Glacier. Our overnight stay will be in Kathmandu.

Today, we will ride to different places inside Kathmandu Valley. The Kathmandu tour to Pharping and Kritipur covers approximately 40 to 60 kilometers, taking about 3 to 5 hours. This ride is full of different landscapes, like historical and cultural spots, and beautiful viewpoints and landmarks along the way. Additionally, Kirtipur promises an immersive experience in the Newari culture and  Heritage, adding richness to our tour.  We’ll spend the overnight in Kathmandu.

Starting from the bustling city of Kathmandu to the peaceful village of Gorkha, this ride offers a thrilling experience across diverse landscapes. Gorkha is renowned for its historical significance and is the birthplace of King Prithvi Narayan Shah, who unified Nepal. The ride covers approximately 135 kilometers,  about 3-4 hours. We’ll explore Gorkha Durbar, cherished for its historical articrafts and architecture. Overnight stay in Gorkha.

We’ll start our day early, enjoying breakfast before embarking on our ride towards Bandipur. Bandipur is famous for its Newari culture and its rich cultural heritages and architecture. The distance from Gorkha to Bandipur is approximately 80 kilometers, taking around 4 to 6 hours. After sightseeing and lunch, we will continue our journey towards pokhara. We’ll ride alongside the beautiful Marsyangdi River, passing through a beautiful village and enjoying stunning mountain vistas. After riding approximately 75 kilometers, we will arrive in pokhara. There we’ll take some rest and enjoy dinner. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

Early this morning,  we’ll begin on our motorbike journey from Pokhara to Jomsom, approximately about 6 to 7 hours. This tour offers breathtaking trails through Nepal’s diverse landscapes. We will ride through the roads of the Kali Gandaki, surrounded by stunning landscapes that range from serene valleys to cliffs. Similarly, when we arrive at Jomsom, we can feel the peaceful atmosphere of this beautiful town. Jomsom is known for its unique culture, apple orchards, and amazing views of the Nilgiri and Tukuche mountain peaks in the background. Overnight stay in Jomsom.

Today, we’ll embark on a 2–3-hour ride to Muktinath, following rugged trails lined with picturesque vistas. After reaching the sacred Muktinath Temple, we’ll spend a couple of hours exploring the holy site. In the early afternoon, we’ll ride back to Jomsom, pausing along the way to soak in the mesmerizing scenery and capture breathtaking photos. Overnight in Jomsom.

Roll out at first light for a 6–7-hour descent to Pokhara. The road ribbons along the mighty Kali Gandaki River, past stone-built Thakali villages and sheer canyon walls. Pause for chai, stretch your legs, and snap a few river-gorge photos before cruising into lakeside Pokhara for the evening.

Trade throttle for paddle: glide across Phewa Lake to island-set Tal Barahi Temple, then meander Pokhara’s vibrant lakeside—craft stalls, coffee roasters, and mountain gear boutiques all jostling for attention. Hunt for handmade souvenirs, sip a rooftop lassi, or simply kick back with an Annapurna view.

After breakfast, aim south on the curving Siddhartha Highway—130 km of terraced hillsides and mist-filled valleys (≈ 4–6 hrs). In historic Tansen, explore the pastel facades of old Newari houses, ride out to riverside Rani Mahal, and climb Shreenagar Hill for a sunset that sets the Himalayas aglow.

Drop out of the hills on an 80-km sprint (≈ 2–3 hrs) to the spiritual calm of Lumbini. After a local-flavor lunch, wander the sacred Maya Devi Temple, meditative monastic zones, and eternal flame that marks Buddha’s birthplace.

Ride 150 km (≈ 3–4 hrs) to the jungle plains of Chitwan. Swap helmets for safari hats this afternoon as you delve into Chitwan National Park and meet the Tharu people, famed for their stilted homes and rhythmic stick dances.

Point your Enfield east along the Prithvi Highway, climbing 180 km (≈ 5–7 hrs) into the cool air of Daman. Lunch en route, then roll into one of Nepal’s finest view points—an amphitheater of peaks from Dhaulagiri to Everest under a star-filled sky.

A relaxed 100-km ride (≈ 3–4 hrs) carries you through pine forests to ridge-top Nagarkot. Arrive in time for a technicolor sunset—and, if skies are kind, tomorrow’s unforgettable sunrise over an unbroken Himalayan wall.

Fuel up on breakfast, fire up the Enfield, and trace the ridgeline from Nagarkot to Dhulikhel. The 100-km loop (≈ 4–6 hrs) serves up rolling hills, emerald rice terraces, and quick bursts of up-and-down twisties that keep you grinning inside the helmet. Pause in Dhulikhel for a relaxed village lunch—rooftop views sweep from the Langtang range to Gauri Shankar—then point the bike west for the final run into Kathmandu.

Your final day in Nepal is wide-open for discovery. Roam UNESCO-listed courtyards, climb temple steps for sweeping valley views, or dive into Thamel’s maze of craft shops and cafés for last-minute souvenirs and a laid-back latte. Tonight, gather for a festive farewell dinner hosted by Himalayan Glacier, reliving the ride’s best moments with new road-mates.

All great rides must roll to a stop. Three hours before your flight, a Himalayan Glacier representative will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport. Safe travels—until the next adventure!
