Bandipur-6 of Tanahun district is being an attractive destination for tourists for Rock Climbing game to be undertaken at Chun Pahara (cliff).
The Siddha Cave Development Committee brought the rock climbing game into operation from 2064 BS.According to Chairman of the Committee, Lalkaji Shrestha, 13 routes have been brought into operation to the around-55 -meters high cliff adjacent to the Prithvi Highway.
More than 5,000 domestic and foreign tourists so far have completed the rock climbing, which is known as a risky and adventurous game. Of the number, number of foreign tourists is high as compared to domestic tourists.
The Committee has arranged the game free of charge. Shrestha said that the game has helped promotion of domestic and foreign tourism with the development of sports tourism.
Foreign tourists used to come for rock climbing game after the publicity of the game through e-mail and internet, he added.
