Traveling solo in Tanzania is safe as long as you practice basic safety responsiveness. There is no doubt that Tanzania is a good travel destination for either family and kids or group travel. Make sure to stay away from the crime hotspots to evade petty thefts, street mugging or bag-snatching incidences. Also, avoid secluded areas and long stretches of deserted beach areas.
