Simply cannot reccomend enough! From the moment I showed interest with Naba, to when I left Nepal, nothing was too much for the company, who did everything they could to make my time in Nepl as brilliant as possible. The contact, support and information pre departure with Naba was faultless, filling me with confidence. When I arrived I was met by my guide, Babu. This man is true saint, who was flawless during my trek, he did everything in his power to ensure I had a safe and enjoyabel time for which I am extreamly gratefull. The service which Himalayan Glacier provides is fantastic. The trek itself is physical, but defiantley worth it I would forewarn anyone, the island Peak Climb is extream and very very physical, but an incredible adventure. The sights to see are wonderous and the experience as a whoel was unforgetable. The company provide an excellent value for money service, the included meals and ervices at the best teahouses really are great, I met many poeple who had paid less upfront and were stung by other companies with additional expenses, but Himalyan Galceir were cryastal clear on what was provided from day 1, Excellent service! I cannot thank Himalayan Glacer, and inparticular; Naba, Babu, and my porter Yiba for their amazing effort in making my trip incredible!I documented my whole trip, and you can watch that on youtube via this link, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n0SGJX906ig&t=1367s
Show moreOverall we had a wonderful trip! The weather didn't always cooperate, but we made the most of what we could, and the journey was a good one. The route planned, along with the timing of it, was well thought out and worked well. We were given realistic expectations for all aspects of the journey. Our guide had a few things he could have been better about, but overall led us on a good trip. Naba at the "home office" was absolutely wonderful and we appreciated his accomodating our needs, and working with us once we returned. Communication before we arrived was fantastic. We would highly recommend Himalayan Glacier for any adventure, and definitely for the Three Passes/Island Peak hike.
Show moreMy husband and I are sure: we'll never forget the wonderful experience of trekking over the three passes and climbing Island Peak. It was really a mountain dream which came true, realized by the professional, enthusiastic and very friendly team from Himalayan Glacier. From pre-trip information over the trekking and climbing days in the mountains to the airport drop-off in Kathmandu, everything went perfect. Especially the flexibility (starting the trip some days earlier, potential additional acclimatization day or change of route in case of need) offered by Himalayan Glacier to possibly adjust the pre-planned itinerary to our potential needs made us feel very comfortable. In the end, due to the really excellent elaborated itinerary, the perfect guidance and know-how of our trekking guide, climbing guide and assistant climbing guide, all being able to totally meet our needs in terms of walking pace, technical and mental support as well as the reliable support of our friendly (and by the way well equipped) porter, no changes were need and we could spend three unforgettable beautiful weeks doing high altitude hiking and peak climbing in the Everest region. A special thanks goes to our trekking guide Subash, who really exceeded our expectations in all dimensions! Himalayan Glacier is not the budget option but worth every dollar and cent you are spending.
