Sagar Pandey

President and Founder

Sagar Pandey grew up in a remote mountain village of Asrang in the Gorkha district of Nepal and was fortunate enough to be able to attend Amrit Science Campus in Kathmandu. Like any average Nepali of his age at the time, he had thought about working for the government after his graduation. Eventually, with a graduate degree in geology, he was likely to pursue his career as a geologist or a mining engineer. Sanket Pandey

Sales and Marketing

Sanket is our National Account Manager for the North American region. He joined us as an intern in the summer of 2014 putting valuable contributions in the process of revising company website and brochures. Now, he is currently in the U.S. pursuing higher studies whilst being a part of the HGT team in expanding the North American market. He has experienced breathtaking treks in the Himalayas of Nepal. These experiences help him radiate the greatness of travelling in the Himalayas to our potential American clients

Deon Nel

Business Development Director Africa

Entered into a business partnership for Africa with the HGT founder in December 2018.Deon is a trained metallurgical engineer with qualifications in marketing, commerce and finance. He is a born and bred South African with a passion for travelling to unusual destinations. In 2007 he set himself the goal of visiting all the natural wonders of the world. Since then he has covered some of the natural and engineering wonders of our planet. He completed his first Himalayan experience in 2015 completing the Everest Base Camp trek and in 2018 to the region returned to complete the Annapurna Base Camp trek. read more
