Citizens from select countries can now enter China visa-free for up to 30 days. This streamlined process allows for quick and easy access to permits and visas. If you’re from one of these eligible countries, you can travel to Kathmandu, and within a day, you’ll be ready for your Kailash journey without long waiting times.
This visa-free policy is valid from November 30, 2024, to December 25, 2025. Citizens of countries not on the list should plan for a 4–5 day processing time for their permits and visas after arriving in Kathmandu.
