Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN) made its presence in the 1st Far-Western Regional Tourism Fair organized from February 15-17 at Dhangadhi of Nepal. The event was organized by Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) with the aim of stimulating tourism attractions in the far-western region of Nepal.
While inaugurating the tourism promotional event Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation said “There is lot more to do to exploit tourism potentials of the far-west region”. Basically, people from all nine districts of the far-western region showcased their cultural, historical and natural attractions at the mega event.
In addition to local attractions, TAAN also showcased maps and pamphlets of newly developed trekking trails at the event. And, the umbrella organization believed that visitors to the region will be curious toward trekking products displayed in the fair.
Along with local people from the region, the fair further attracted students, local tourism entrepreneurs and other common visitors from India as well.
