My name is Robbi LeBlanc, I am from Canada. I went on the Everest base camp trek with Himalayan Glacier travel and had an amazing time. The weather was great on the trek and I had a wonderful guide, Babu. He was very informative and willing to go at any pace and always was polite. The flight into Lukla is almost worth the trip itself. The airport runway is very small and short. The trek took 15 days, but then we were stuck in Lukla for seven days because of bad weather. The views are amazing and so are all the people that you meet on the trail. The company is very understanding of individual needs and willing to make any adjustments that need be. We were able to give a porter to another group when their guide decided to quit. (Good to have a contract).

Hotel Encounter Nepal along with Himalayan Glacier travel have made this a trip of lifetime. I have stayed at the hotel since I arrived in Nepal and they are able to help you with any plans that you may have. Sabin at the hotel is very nice helpful, he helped me plan all of my activities, which included; Everest base camp, Royal Chitwan National Park, a few days in Pokhara and finally the world’s highest bungy jump. I was able to book everything at the hotel hassle free, they took care of everything.

The staffs at the hotel are very polite and will do whatever they can for you to enjoy your stay. The rooms are basic; bed, hot shower, desk, TV., pretty fast computers, and room service from the restaurant downstairs.

If and when I return to Nepal I will definitely be staying at Hotel Encounter Nepal and going trekking with Himalayan Glacier and would not hesitate to recommend their services for any of your vacation needs.
