Departure Dates & Price for Gokyo Lake & Everest Base Camp Trek
We recommend autumn (Sept, Oct, Nov) and spring (March, April, May) as the best seasons for this Trek. The weather is sunny and warm, but the nights are cold and can fall to freezing. Winter (Dec, Jan, Feb) is also good, only colder (obviously). Summer (Jun, Jul, Aug) is monsoon so visibility and rain are an issue but some feel this is outweighed by having the track practically to yourself. Overall, you can travel plan for this trip throughout the year as convinient to you.
