Walk through villages, forests and upstream along the Modi Khola into the Annapurna Sanctuary, a valley surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks. This is a spectacular trek to the South Face of Annapurna I (8,091m/26,545ft). Offer breathtaking views of the Fishtail Peak-Machhapuchhare (6,993m/22,943ft). Watch a magnificent sunrise over Dhaulagiri (8,167m/26,795ft) and Annapurna ranges from Poon Hill.

Trekking Season
Autumn (Sept, Oct & Nov) & Spring (March, April & May) are the best seasons for attempting Annapurna Sanctuary Trek and December, Jan & Feb are consider as a good trekking months. The weather is sunny and warm, although the nights are cold and temperatures can fall to freezing. Weather can change rapidly and be unpredictable. Please note that when climbing to Annapurna Sanctuary Trek, you will be moving from warmer climates at low levels to conditions of well below freezing. Be prepared for all eventualities! June, July & August are okay and trekking can be done but not so clear visibility and raining also.
