Day 01: 
Upon our arrival in Kathmandu (1000m/3280ft), Himalayan Glacier will officially greet us at Tribhuvan International Airport and thereby we will be escorted to Hotel Shanker or similar rating hotel in kathmandu.
Day 02: 
Kathmandu Tour
In kathmandu, we will have half day guided city tours which include Basantapur Durbar Square, Syambunath Stupa, Pashupati Nath Temple - Hindu Temple and Buddha Nath - the biggest Buddha Stupa in ancent Katmandu. At afternoon, we will engage on pre-trip discussion for next day trek. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 03: 
Kathmandu (1300m) - Tsedang (3650m) to Lhasa - 1 hr Flight
After having brief excursion within kathmandu valley, we cross the highest Himalayan ranges of the world to be at Lhasa. At our flight, we will have magnatic views of Himalayas. Prior to Lhasa, we will be drive around two hours for Tsedang along the scenic Brahmaputra river. At Tsedang, we will rest for acclimatization.
Day 04: 
In Tsedang, we will have mild walk around temples and Thandruk Monastery. At noon, we test the uniqueness of Tibetan bazaar which is full of traditional cultural milieu. Overnight at Tsedang hotel.
Day 05: 
Tsedang - Samye - Lhasa
From Tsedang, we enjoy driving around 250 km to Samye. Upon arrival at Samye we explore Samye Monastery, the oldest pristine monastery in Tibet. Having sparks of spiritual touch at Samye Monastery, we further continue our drive around 5-6 hours within the heights of 3650m to Lhasa. We capitalize the beautiful moments of our journey at such heights while heading to Lhasa. Overnight at Lhasa.
Day 06: 
At the dawn in Lhasa, we visit at spiritually inspiring Potala Palace which is the metaphor of creative epitome situated at untouched holy land. We further traverse into the Buddhist's creative excellences like Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Bazaar, a cultural showcase of Tibet. Again, overnight in Lhasa.
Day 07: 
Lhasa - Drepung and Sera Monastries
Today at the dawn, we visit at Drepung Monastery. Drepung Monastery, founded in 1416 is the largest of all Tibetan monasteries located on the Gambo Utse mountain which is just 5 km away from Lhasa. At the day time, we make our trip for Sera Monastery. Sera Monastery is one of the great three Gelupa university monasteries in Tibet located just 1.25 miles north of Lhasa. The original monastery founded in 1419 is famous for its complex architectural construction which is  nearly 5 km away from Kokang and responsible for some 19 hermitagges and four nunneries. Overnight at Lhasa.
Day 08: 
Lhasa - Norbulingka and Tibetan Nunnery
A short excursion within Lhasa also covers few more Buddhist pilgrimage sites. Our first arrival at Norbulingka serves the purpose of exploring long standing history of this site. Norbulingka is a palace built in 1755 serves as the traditional summer residence of the successive Dalai Lamas. Norbulingka palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site represents unique Tibetan architectural presentation. Further Norbulingka, we also make our trip to Tibetan Nunnery. Tibetan Nunneries date back to 8th century but well establish since 12th century used to school nearly 28,000 nuns untill the Chinese invasion in its sacred soil.
Day 09: 
Lhasa - Tibetan Medicine Center
Today, we engage in indepnedent activities and moreover it will be better to be at Tibetan Medicine Center. Throughout the day, we aim to attend maximum the knowledge about the way of Tibetan traditional system of medical practices and its intriguing famous success stories. Overnight in Lhasa.
Day 10: 
Lhasa - Tsurphu - Lhasa
Upon our round excursion we fully engage at Tsurphu, 70 km away from Lhasa. At Tsurphu, we visit at Tsurphu Monastery. The Tibetan Buddhist monastery is located in Tibetan autonomus regions of China above 4300m sea level. Since its foundation in 1159, the monastery ramained a sacred place for holy monks. But, the spiritual site suffered massive destruction due to Chinese Cultural Revolution and restored in 1980. After having excursion, we return to Lhasa. Overnight at Lhasa.
Day 11: 
Lhasa - Ganden - Lhasa
Today upon our arrival at Genden from Lhasa, we make our inquisitive trip around Ganden Monastery. Ganden Monastery is among great three univeristy monastries in Tibet situated 36 km away from Potala Palace. Ganden refers to Joyful in Buddhist terminology. It was the original monastery of the Geluk order, founded in 1409. Having visited at historic monastery, we have retreat back to Lhasa at the evening for overnight stay.
Day 12: 
Lhasa - Gyantse : 3,950m, 261 KM
The journey from Lhasa to Gyantse is full of scenic gift of nature. The 261 km route passes through Yamadroke Lake over crossing two high passes named Karola (5,010m) and Kambala (4,794m). Upon arrival at our todays' destination, Gyantse we will have knowledge about Tibet's third largest city along with its natural habitate at such altitude.
Day 13: 
Gyantse offers architecturally intriguing Kumbum Stupa and the view of Phalkor Monastery. Then after we visit for Gyantse Dzong, a historical site in Gyantse. Gyantse Dzong or Gyantse Fortress is one of the best preserved dzongs in Tibet and was constructed in 1390. It has historical significance in the sense that the Chinese face British invasion during 1903 and 1904 at this fort where Tibetan heroicly fight against such invasion. After having historical trip in Gyantse, we reterun back to Lhasa to have overnight stay.
Day 14: 
Gyantse - Xigatse : 3,900M, 90 km
Gyantse to xigastse will be a scenic drive with a short visit to Shalu Monastery. Further the drive touches uniqueness of  the Tibetan village. Our arrival at Xigatse will be full of inspirations. At first sight, we will be at Tashilhunpo Monastery, the traditional seat of the Panchen Lamas constructed in 1447. Overhere, we furtehr roam around gift market in old town and Xigatse Fortress.
Day 15: 
Today, we further deep down into Tibetan monastic practices through visiting or making inquiries with Panchen Lamas. In our another quest, we find ourselves engagement with Tashilhunpo Monastery where Panchen Lamas practice their sacred religious duties.
Shigatse (12,600 ft.) is most famous for its Tashilhunpo Monastery - the seat of the Panchen Lama. Places of interest within this monastery include the relics sakyamuni, the hall of maitreya and mind-boggling collection of thankas. There is also bustling "free" market at the foot of the ruins of the xigaze fortress and one can buy local handicrafts embedded with coral and torquoise, Chinese porcelain and yak butter etc. The highlight of Shigatse is surprisingly high snow capped peaks. Most of the highest peaks in Tibet, including Mt. Everest, lie around Shigatse. The other wonderful monastery near Shigatse is the Sakya Monastery and Shalu Monastery. Overnight at Xigatse.
Day 16: 
Xigatse - Xegar : 4350m,  244 KM
We make a picturesque drive to Xegar by crossing Gytso La (5220M) high pass. Around 13,800 ft. above sea level, Xegar is a new Chinese commune built at a the foot of the ruins of Xegar Dzong, and is 7 kms from the main road. It is the centre of this large and remote country and also a base from where expeditions to Mt. Everest and other peaks are launched. The total distance form Xegar to Everest Base Camp is about 110 km in a vehicle. It is about seven hours from Xegar to Rongbuk. By foot it is about three days of hiking from west of Xegar onto rongbuk. After having such first hand experience we stay in night at Xegar.
Day 17: 
Xegar - Zhangmu : 2300M, 244 KM
With scenic drive via Nyalamu PASS (4800M), capitalizing the opportunity to see Mt. Shishapagma, Mt. Cho Oyu, Mt. Everest we continue downhill drive to Zhangmu. Also known as Khasa, Zhangmu perches on a mountainside 10km inland from the Friendship Bridge across the Bhotekoshi River. The small town has become the major trading post between Tibet and Nepal.The subtropical oceanic climate endows the small town a warm, and humid weather and beautiful scenery throughout the year. The city attracts merchants from inland China, Tibet and Nepal running for business. Nepalese even run Nepalese restaurants in the small town, serving Nepalese dishes. Since, Xegar offers multicultural touch to the visitor like us. Upon roamming around this uniquue mountain city, we do not miss the rare taste of night at Xegar.
Day 18: 
Zhangmu - Kathmandu : 1300m, 130 KM
Finally, after necessary border formalities we continue our drive to Kathmandu through the scenic Nepalese countryside. Upon arrival in Kathmandu we will be escorted at our hotel.

Your safety is of paramount concern while traveling with Himalayan Glacier. Please note that your leader has the authority to amend or cancel any part of the itinerary if it is deemed necessary due to safety concerns. Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary; however, since this adventure entails travelling in remote mountainous regions, we cannot guarantee that we will not deviate from it. Weather conditions, health condition of a group member, unexpected natural disasters, etc., can all contribute to changes in the itinerary. The leader will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if required.
