Langtang Valley

Langtang Valley Trek

I trekked the beautiful Langtang Valley in May and arranged everything through Himalayan Glacier trekking company.  They thought of everything down to the finest detail.  The trip started with a long bumpy drive to Syabrubesi, which is probably the worst part if the trip. My guide Babu was extremly helpful throughout the trip and was full of local knowledge,  which was useful when it came to choosing which guest house to stay in.  He knew the ones with the best food!
We slowly made our way up the valley, always at my pace.  There was never any pressure on time.  Kyanging Gumba at the top is beautiful and you have 2 days up there to enjoy the views and climb up to one of the peaks.  A visit to the bakery is a must!  When I was feeling unwell due to altitiude sickness Babu knew exactly what to do.  If you are short of time in Nepal Langtang Valley is a perfect option.  I highly reccommend booking through Himamlayan Glacier as they tailoured the trip to my needs and budget.  Babu was the perfect guide.  Despite my pace being slow he never seemed to mind.

A very memorable trip

Discover Sikkim and Darjeeling Tour

Did two separate private tours recently. First, Darjeeling, and Sikkim..then follow by Ladakh.
Had some logistic hiccups. Overall trip was well orgainzed, fast paced, active, covered all the highlights. Drivers in both location ,were very good, kept cars clean all time, always in control of difficult road, and weather conditions.
Ladakh, truly worthwhile a visit. Drive thru the Khardongla Pass, highest moutain road, spectacular scenery, but not for the weak heart...while Pangong Lake, was frozen during visit.
Overall, a very memorable trip

Sure thing

Everest Base Camp Short Trek

You can hunt around for cheaper options or even do it yourself, however the 22 years experience our guide had really came through. 2 people died from altitude sickness in another group. We always had accommodation booked while other groups would arrive after a long trek and still have to confirm accommodation. Our guide even organized a helicopter flight out of Lukla when our plane was cancelled.

Here we come ABC

Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Well, it was really quite a trek to start with for my son and me.........lots of ascending and descending just to have majestic views of Annapurna mountains, not forgetting the lovely 'fish tail' and the surrounding mountains, also  the people we met on the way be it locals or other nationalities, was really good!!

Unforgettable experience

Annapurna Sanctuary Trek

Namaste!
We would like to thank all Himalayan Glacier staff for their proffessional attitude and kindness. Even though I had a problem in my foot and had to change a litlle our initial plans, you all were very supportive and helpful. We would like to give special regards to Suresh and Babu, our trekking guide and porter during the trek. The days we spent with them in the mountain were really unforgettable! We arrived at Nepal looking for mountains but we came back home not only having found them but also with the memory of the caring, helpful and endlessly happy Nepali people. Thank you for giving us such an unforgettable experience!

A Fabulous Holiday

Annapurna Sunrise Trek

This trek provided a moderate physical challenge without being too exhausting. It gave us a good taste of the beauty of the Himalayas and the interesting Nepali culture.  We also had some time to explore a couple of the bigger towns. All the guest houses we stayed in were clean and welcoming and the food was basic but great quality.
