Nepal Business Conclave concluded on Monday with signing of some Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) and business deals.
The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and China Chamber of Tourism signed a MoU for collaboration on tourism promotion. Suraj Vaidhya, president of FNCCI and Wang Ping, president of China Chamber of Tourism, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations.
Similarly, Himalayan Builders and Engineers Company of Nepal and Protasco Development SDN BHD of Malaysia have signed letter of intent (LoI) to work jointly on infrastructure development. Himalayan Builders also signed LoI with Kumpulan Ikram SDN to work on education sector as well as to establish an engineering lab in Nepal.
Likewise, Centrino Global Company of Nepal and Tibet Gdadang Tourism Development Company of China have signed a deal to build JSB Financial Centre in Kathmandu.
Similarly, Ankhu Khola Hydro Power Project has signed LoI with MY Investment Group of Nepal — the company promoted by Non-residential Nepalis.
FNCCI had showcased a total of 53 projects in various sectors like agriculture, tourism, infrastructure, manufacturing, hydropower, service, mines and minerals, for the investors.
