Writing winning travelogues: Sharing travel experiences with the world!

Himalayan Glacier recently organized an exciting writing competition for its clients on their travel experiences. The winning articles are being featured in the Himalayan Glaciers’ official brochure where the writers have a chance to share their travelogue with the world. Apart from that, the winners are also entitled to 50% off on a single trekking trip to Nepal. After all, what could be more rewarding than a trek to “Himalayan Utopia” itself for ardent travelers?

Altogether  3 individuals: a. Ionut Prodan (Romania) b. Ann Hendrikson (USA) and c. Joao Tome (Portugal) have been selected as winners. While Mr. Prodan’s article tells us about his triumph over Mera Peak, Ms. Ann shares her account of trekking in the Annapurna region of Nepal, considered one of the best in the world. Whereas Mr. Tome’s article provides an insight on his experience of touring Himalayan enclaves in Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan, Sikkim and West Bengal all in one go.

While judging the articles we looked for the best written, entertaining and accurate stories that had a unique angle and a real sense of place. We would like to congratulate the winners and thank all of the participants for sending in their articles. Stay up-to-date with us for more exciting competitions and opportunities such as these in the future. If you wish to read the full article on the travel experiences, please look for Himalayan Glacier brochure which will soon be shared with you.
